All the departments offer a list of courses leading to the Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees; under exceptional circumstances students will be granted credits toward the degree, based on submission to Faculty of evidence of outstanding professional experience in a certain field, and upon approval of Faculty and Chairman of Faculty of choice.

Academic Calendar :
The educational approach of WSU is based on the concepts of continuing education. Our students are often professionals, managers, executive with successful employment status, wishing to explore new academic fields or to complete their education by gaining further competence in a specific area of interest. For this reasons, WSU holds an open enrolment policy, allowing any qualified student to enter the program of choice at any time.

WSU involves finding alternative ways to earn college credits, such as through challenge examinations. Mature students are particularly adept at testing out of courses by demonstrating subject mastery through a single examination. Earning college credit for life and work experience through the
creation of a student portfolio is another option common to SWU programs. Many people complete long unfinished Bachelor's degrees or more advanced degrees such as Masters or Ph.D.’s through the use of portfolios.

At WSU students can also take the opportunity to use the Internet technology to gain credits and even a degree by distance learning. We offer a selected number of quality distance learning courses and programs. We emphasize highly interactive online courses distributed through the Internet. SWU offers courses that meet or exceed standard guidelines for distance education.

Honoris Causa Program :
The Honoris Causa Program is offered to individuals who have contributed in an outstanding way to the welfare ot their community, and leads to a Doctorate, honoris causa, that is being granted to those few alented people who have excelled in any field of activities.
